Gwarimpa, Abuja.

Pastor Michael could feel the charged atmosphere and he knew he had the congregation’s full attention at the moment. ‘But it’s true,’ he continued, his eyes questioning the congregation, ‘Stop looking at me like you have not heard people translate woman to woe man, expanded further to mean woe unto man. And also the assertion that God has not rested, ever since He made woman,’ He paused for effect, letting his words sink into the congregation as his eyes scanned through the auditorium, seeing nothing but a sea of heads.

7 Business Lessons From Buhari's Victory + Listen To GEJ Congratulate Buhari Via Phone

That's the audio clip of Jonathan congratulating Buhari on winning the elections.
The 2015 presidential election has come and gone but there are some hard lessons in it for business oriented people, entrepreneurs and managers. We can all learn this from Gen Buhari's victory

1. NEVER GIVE UP
Never give up because whatever you do know that, persistence surely pays and has its rewards. Buhari contested four times and made it on his fourth attempt.
Recall how many times Thomas Edison tried to make the light bulb work? If they had given up, today will never have happened. Many times in business, persistent failures makes us lose hope or become forlorn. Let the Buhari example be your inspiration today. I repeat, Never ever give up!

2. FLEXIBILITY IS THE NAME OF THE GAME!
In not giving up, be strategic and very flexible. After every failure, examine what went wrong, check your team and be prepared to make necessary changes. Buhari changed his party platform from the ANPP in 2003 and 2007 to CPC in 2011 and then the APC in 2015 which eventually gave him victory. Bottom line? CHANGE is constant!

CNN's Amanpour Interviews Buhari (Watch Interview)

9ja's President elect, Muhammadu Buhari was on CNN last night with Christiane Amanpour. He had an interview with her from 7pm to 7:30pm.

In the exclusive live interview from Abuja, Buhari told Amanpour that he plans to aggressively fight corruption that has long plagued Nigeria and go after the root of 9ja's unrest.

Buhari said he'll "rapidly give attention" to curbing violence in the northeast part of Nigeria, where Boko Haram operates.

By cooperating with neighboring nations Chad, Cameroon and Niger, he said his administration is confident it will be able to thwart criminals and others contributing to Nigeria's instability.

He said he was not concerned about reconciling the nation after a divisive campaign.

He said now that he has been elected he will turn his focus to Boko Haram and "plug holes" in the "corruption infrastructure" in the country.

"A new day and a new Nigeria are upon us," Buhari said  "The victory is yours, and the glory is that of our nation."
